Broken Heart

Plaque gathers in veins
Blood thickens slowly
His chest fills with pains
Bacon left him lowly

Atria spasm
Ventricles shatter
From chest to chasm
Life leaves the matter

His family mourns
For the one they lost
While morticians warn
Of exorbitant cost

They give all that they own
For the sake of his soul
But all this is unknown
To the man in his hole
